Naranča is a Croatian folk song made popular by the pagan folk band Percival and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt soundtrack. You may know it as “Widow-Maker.”

Our take on Naranča focuses on interpreting the lyrics, telling a story about integrating trauma: Within the uplifting tune, a girl who’s been asked if her mother was a witch describes how her mother might have thrown her into the sea, how sailors fished the baby out of the sea waves, and how her adoptive mother raised her.
